Is it noisy on a desk?
No. The Silent-Drive gimbal motor measures under 18 dB — quieter than a whispered breath. The whole assembly is hand-balanced in Geneva so the gimbal glides without vibration, even on a glass top.
Will it fit my watch?
Yes. Two cushions ship in the box — one sized for 35mm and under, one for 36mm and up. Swap whichever suits the watch you're winding.
Will it wind my movement?
Yes. It runs bi-directionally at 700 turns per day, which suits effectively every automatic calibre — some movements wind clockwise, some counter-clockwise, some both, and bi-directional rotation covers all three. There's nothing to set.
Can I leave it running all the time?
Yes. The gimbal is rated for continuous duty, and the AC adapter keeps it running indefinitely with a 72-hour lithium reserve in case of a power cut.
What's the difference between the two finishes?
Mahogany & Gold pairs hand-rubbed mahogany with gold-tone hardware — warm, classic, at home in a traditional interior. Carbon Fiber & Silver pairs carbon with brushed silver — modern and architectural.
